<Introduction to Jasper>
Jasper is one of the two types of jade recognized in Gemstone. It is a variety of Hetian jade. It is spinach green and belongs to nephrite. The texture of jasper is delicate, smooth and shiny like oil. Taiwan jade was once internationally famous. For jasper, Taiwan jade has been recorded in documents since the prehistoric Neolithic Age, and it was used to make jewelry to wear. Its unearthed cultural relics are regarded as national treasures by the National Taiwan Museum of Prehistoric Culture. The mineral composition is mainly tremolite- Stone, the chemical composition is calcium, magnesium and iron silicates, and the hardness is 6-6.5. Jasper has been favored by people since ancient times. As early as the Qing Dynasty, it was popular among the royal aristocracy and was regarded as a treasure.
