Each crease is meticulously folded by hand, repeatedly, to form a beautiful, multi-faceted spherical shape. Its original crease pattern and unique construction method result in a distinctive aesthetic that cannot be replicated by molds or other mechanical production methods. Using leatherworking techniques, the lampshade is sewn together by hand, stitch by stitch. This labor-intensive process is designed to minimize visible seams or overlapping, achieving a truly seamless, uniformly translucent sphere with no dark corners. This allows for unrestricted viewing from any angle, offering greater freedom and spontaneity in placement. Unlike typical paper lampshades that can yellow or develop mold and spots, the polypropylene lampshade is heat-resistant, chemically resistant, and impact-resistant, making it easy to clean and maintain. Dust can be gently brushed off, and stubborn marks can be removed with an eraser or a light wipe. The spherical lampshade possesses structural integrity, making it resistant to damage from impact. Even if it sustains a slight dent, the shape can be gently pushed back into its original form along the creases. Starting from thick brass tubes, it is shaped through multiple processes using lathes and CNC machines. The surface is then hand-polished horizontally, revealing a fine hairline texture that emits a warm, understated luster, highlighting the inherent beauty of the brass material. Over time, brass develops a charming patina, akin to aged artifacts, or it can be regularly polished with brass cleaner to maintain its shine. Durable NBR nitrile rubber rings are used at the base for anti-slip stability and to protect wooden furniture from scratches when the lamp is moved. A hot-stamped genuine leather side tag, hand-stitched onto one side of the lamp base, is paired with a dark brown braided cord, complementing the brass base and together creating a delicate handcrafted aesthetic. Even the internal parts, which are not easily visible, have been made with significant investment. Instead of using unbranded, unknown bulbs, this lamp features OSRAM yellow light LED energy-saving bulbs that comply with CNS national standards. These bulbs offer excellent color rendering, a long lifespan of 15,000 hours, and feature eye-care functions with no blue light and no flicker, making them ideal for close-up use like reading or as a bedside lamp. The lamp's components have multiple safety certifications: the CE-certified ceramic bulb holder ensures high heat resistance and stability; the flame-retardant fabric of the retro braided cord offers excellent texture and is resistant to fraying; the crisp and responsive switch has multiple European certifications; and the high-quality Taiwanese-made plug conforms to Taiwan's new safety standards ((R63608 RoHS)). The plug's blades and internal conductive pieces are made of oxygen-free copper, riveted with brass washers through stamping, ensuring solid materials and low-resistance, stable conductivity.
