This is an antique treatment for copper, not a defect or stain. This process enhances the copper's rust-resistance, making it less prone to black spots over time. The surface will also undergo basic polishing and finishing before shipping. Neither affects the intrinsic quality of the copper nor the outcome of the wax seal. ❖ ◤ Usage Instructions 1 Gather your tools: Hammer, wax sticks, lighter, alcohol lamp, baby oil (apply to the copper stamp beforehand to prevent wax sticking). 2 Break wax sticks into pieces and fill the spoon about 80% full. Light the alcohol lamp and heat until the wax melts (with slight bubbling). 3 Let the heated wax cool for a few tens of seconds to prevent excessive heat from causing bubbles, which can lead to an imperfect imprint. 4 Slowly pour the molten wax onto the desired area. Vertically press the wax seal stamp and hold for a few seconds before removing to achieve a beautiful wax seal. * Please perform this in a well-ventilated area at all times. * Be mindful that if the paper is too thin, the wax may adhere to the back. It is recommended to use a glass or metal surface as a base. * Each of our wax sticks can create approximately 6-7 seals, depending on the amount used.
