RD-C-21-Hunting Trousers
"60s HBT Military Hunting Trousers"
These trousers are a refined interpretation of the Netherlands Military Cargo Pants issued to the Dutch Army in the 1960s. Crafted from thick and durable HBT (Herringbone Twill) fabric, they offer a suitable weight for year-round wear, ideal for work and outdoor activities. In addition to standard belt loops, they feature added suspender buttons for pairing with vintage leather-button suspenders. As a staple in the Retrodandy collection, the loose, straight-leg cut is complemented by large side pockets and newly added slant pockets. These are practical military trousers that exude ruggedness and thoughtful detail.
HBT fabric, commonly found in military attire, gets its name Herringbone Twill from its distinctive fishbone-like pattern. It is resistant to shrinking, and its unique weave offers superior strength compared to regular plain-weave cotton fabrics, gradually replacing denim as a primary material for military uniforms.
