**【Painting Tainan Series】**
I've always had a thought, a desire to paint my own city.
This place that has accompanied me from birth, through growth, education, and career...
And from which I still can't seem to part today.
An accidental opportunity sparked this endeavor,
To paint Tainan, using my brush and emotions.
I present this with a deep reverence, as if afraid of marring this land,
Its profound cultural essence does not allow for casual strokes.
Though I've been to every spot, more than once,
When it came time to paint them, I had to revisit each one,
This time, with even greater detail.
And now that they're painted, I share them with you!
**The First Academy of Taiwan**-
The earliest Confucius Temple in Taiwan is located in Tainan, a first-grade historic site, known as the "First Academy of Taiwan."
Inside, there are two small gates for passage: the east-facing one is called "Li Men" (Gate of Propriety), and the west-facing one is "Yi Lu" (Path of Righteousness).
Students must pass through these gates to enter the main hall of the temple, symbolizing "walking through the Gate of Propriety and following the Path of Righteousness."
