They are typically found in urban residential areas and rural regions, often collected from piles of silver. Blake spiders usually inhabit temperate or tropical climates. They primarily feed on various ears, though occasionally they prey on lice, dander, small parasites, hair, and other spiders. When prey gets caught in their web, Blake spiders swiftly emerge from their lairs, using their resilient silk to securely wrap the victim. They then pierce the prey, injecting venom.
