SMATERIA was founded in Cambodia in 2006 by two Italian friends: Elsa and Jennifer,
One is in charge of marketing planning, and the other is in charge of design.
They believe that “one ’s trash is another ’s treasure” and understand that through design and technical guidance,
Cambodian waste materials can be turned into gorgeous new fashion accessories.
Smateria is a self-sufficient social enterprise. The employment standard does not distinguish between sound or disabled people.

And agreed to lease the machine to provide sewing machines to themselves.
