It is handcrafted in Taiwan using the cold-process method, which preserves the nutritional integrity of the oils, unlike the hot-process method used for traditional ancient soaps. After a six-month saponification period, it matures and is ready for use. This is a truly versatile soap, suitable for use from head to toe, imbued with a sense of mystery! It is particularly effective for hair washing, leaving strands exceptionally soft – highly recommended! The laurel oil content in laurel and olive oil soaps can range widely, from 10% to 80%. Soaps with a higher proportion of laurel seed oil command a higher price, highlighting the preciousness of this ingredient. A Little Knowledge About Laurel Seed Oil: Laurel oil is renowned for its ability to balance sebum production and its anti-inflammatory properties. It promotes wound healing, combats fungal infections, and soothes itching and discomfort, gradually restoring skin health with its natural components. It is especially beneficial for acne-prone, congested skin, skin inflammation, and eczema. The craft of blending olive oil and laurel seed oil for soap making was introduced to Europe after the First Crusade. In fact, the olive and laurel soaps from the Aleppo region were detailed as early as 300 BC.
