To restore luster, you can soften Chinese medicine herbs (Mu Ze Cao) in water and use their fibers to gently rub the surface of the item. * Pure pewter products can be used for food and have the effect of adsorbing impurities in alcohol, making strong spirits smoother. * Due to the nature of handcrafted pewter sheets, the surface may exhibit characteristic "chicken claw marks." These are usually not polished away completely. We wish for our pewter items to showcase their unique surface textures and qualities, so if you desire a perfectly smooth finish like that of a stainless steel cup, please refrain from purchasing.
