Do not wash the polishing cloth. 〃Use a toothbrush with toothpaste or dish soap, add a little water, gently brush, and then rinse thoroughly with clean water. 〃When not wearing, wipe clean and store in a zip-lock bag or jewelry box to prevent oxidation from air exposure. 〃Do not wear silver jewelry when visiting hot springs, as sulfur can cause the silver to turn black. 〃Soak the silver jewelry in a silver cleaning solution. After it turns white, remove it and rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water. The jewelry will need to be polished to prevent damage from repeated use of the silver cleaning solution. 〃Apply a small amount of silver polishing cream to a soft cloth or cotton pad, rub it onto the jewelry surface, and rinse with clean water. 〃Plated jewelry will still oxidize to varying degrees. When not wearing, be sure to store it in a zip-lock bag to isolate it from the air.
