Brand Story Founded by two sisters who are both vegetable-tanned leather designers and handcrafted leather instructors, "Shekinah Handmade Leather" began its journey. In 2013, captivated by the art of leathercraft, we established "Shekinah Handmade Leather." Our studio, located in Xining South Road, Wanhua, marked the start of an adventurous narrative written in leather. Driven by a commitment to using only "vegetable-tanned leather" and fascinated by its ability to age beautifully and organically record the owner's daily life, we continuously developed new products. From common everyday items like bags and wallets to our unique series of animal accessories, we aim to break conventional leather design boundaries, prioritizing distinctive aesthetics. Founders: Janing & Janying Janing, who appreciates the texture of leather, has been dedicated to handcrafted leather creation since graduating from the Department of Fine Arts at National Taiwan University of Arts. She introduced her sister to the craft. Initially, starting a business wasn't planned, but her younger sister, with a business background, gradually found sales channels through markets and decided to commit full-time.
