[Mount Nanhu]
Mount Nanhu stands at an elevation of 3742 meters, marked as No. 8 on the first-class triangulation point system. It is the highest peak in the northern section of the Central Mountain Range and one of Taiwan's five sacred mountains. Mount Nanhu is renowned for its "cirques," formed by the ridges extending from North Peak to Northeast Peak, and East Peak to Main Peak, creating a large, basin-like formation widely believed to be a remnant of glacial cirques from the ice age.
Beyond its majestic stature, Mount Nanhu is surrounded by its peaks, like stars attending the moon, earning it a reputation among Taiwan's 100 highest peaks for its regal presence, surveying all surrounding mountains as if from a throne.
[Mount Nanhu Series - Misty Forests]
The mountain mist transforms constantly, creating a unique spectacle of a forest shrouded in moisture beneath a blue, sunlit sky.
