Do not wash the silver polishing cloth. 〃Use a toothbrush with toothpaste or dish soap, add a little water, gently brush, and then rinse thoroughly with water. 〃Wipe clean and store in a ziplock bag or jewelry box when not wearing to prevent oxidation from air exposure. 〃Avoid wearing silver jewelry in hot springs, as sulfur can cause silver to turn black. 〃Immerse silver jewelry in a silver cleaning solution. After it whitens, remove it and rinse thoroughly with water. The jewelry will need polishing to prevent damage from repeated use of the silver cleaning solution. 〃Dip a soft cloth or cotton pad in a small amount of silver polish and rub it onto the jewelry surface, then rinse with water. 〃Plated jewelry will still oxidize to varying degrees. When not wearing, be sure to store it in a ziplock bag to isolate it from the air.
