Building No. 2 was originally the Department of Physics. The Department of Physics was relocated after the completion of the Condensation Science Museum in 2000.
In 2005, in response to the planning of the University Museum, the early physics experiment equipment was sorted, and the "National Taiwan University Physics and Cultural Relics Hall" was established on the first floor of Hall 2.
