**Product Description and Story**
1. Breaking away from the traditional stereotype of black pottery and black glaze in Tenmoku ware, we boldly adopted the "ancient glaze on new porcelain" concept to design a series of Tenmoku glazed teacups and bowls. This brings art into the home and into the market for exquisite gifts.
2. While not innovative in terms of function, the form is inspired by Song Dynasty tea bowls, imbuing daily life with aesthetic depth. Using it evokes the ambiance of tea tasting in the ancient Song era. Beyond enjoying tea, one can appreciate the ever-changing, dazzling colors of the Tenmoku glaze's 'Yōhen' (changing effects), as if entering another world, thereby enhancing the pleasure of tea tasting.
3. The shape is a slightly refined continuation of the original Song Dynasty tea bowl design, adhering to ergonomic principles for a smooth grip. Made from high-mineral raw materials, it possesses the function of activating water quality, and each glaze is unique.
4. The 'Yōhen' Chrome Golden Oil Drop Tenmoku is a new product developed by Xinke Kiln in 2013. It is a very special glaze with a mysterious hue. Its lustrous surface emits a shower of golden light from above, like fireworks, with golden droplets cascading into the cup, creating a dazzlingly beautiful glaze.
5. The 'Yōhen' Chrome Golden Oil Drop Tenmoku is fired at high temperatures (using non-toxic glaze) at 1300°C. In addition to the base oil drop glaze, the glaze mixture includes small amounts of rare earth elements such as chromium oxide, tungsten oxide, titanium oxide, ammonium oxide, tin oxide, vanadium oxide, and manganese oxide.
6. Materials Used: Imported Japanese porcelain clay
7. Techniques Used: Unique firing curve technology in an electric kiln, with a firing duration of 24 hours.
8. Production Process: Forming → Bisque Firing at 800°C → Repairing Bisque Firing Defects (Polishing) → Glazing → Glaze Firing at 1300°C
9. The 'Yōhen' Chrome Golden Oil Drop Tenmoku is relatively stable to fire within our Tenmoku glaze series. Therefore, we aim to avoid increasing the final retail price as much as possible to make it more accessible and to invigorate the market.
10. Primarily marketed under the Xinke Kiln brand, this product is completely Made in Taiwan (MIT). While using traditional shapes and glazes, it achieves completely groundbreaking traditional glaze colors, presenting a brand-new product. Our pricing is entirely consumer-friendly, making it suitable not only for collection but also for daily use, bringing art into homes and into the market for exquisite gifts. We are committed to not arbitrarily increasing prices unless raw material costs rise, offering our products to consumers with dedication.
