The Tree series is derivative from my artist's book project "Travel Book Series" vol.3 'Travel Book III : Europe, Taiwan'. I hiked in a suburban mountain in Taipei called Yangmingshan National Park during 2006 to 2007, and every time I created a drawing of the same tree in Lengshuikeng, but I tried to express the tree in many different ways. Through the mode of growth and stacking, repetition and extension to structure the image. Intend to show a spiritual depth instead of the virtual image of three-dimensional distance. I drew the outline and part of the background in front of the tree, and finished the drawing in front of my desk. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First printed in 2015.
