Animal skins must be immersed in a vegetable tanning agent, which takes tens of months to soak, so that the leather can be durable. Containing any chemical substances, it can be said to be the most environmentally friendly leather processing method. Its color will darken over time. The tanning agent is natural and can touch the skin without worry. Maintenance tips: Before using the new product, it is recommended to apply a uniform layer of maintenance oil on the whole. Unoiled new products may leave water marks when they touch water, which can be relieved after air drying. The reason for the dirt on the surface of the dermis is usually not from clean water, but from dirt or chemicals. Regular oiling and curing will form a "padding" on the surface of the dermis, improve water resistance and stain resistance, make the color more moist, and reduce the chance of scratches. The dermis is prone to mildew when exposed to moisture. Also need to avoid long-term sunlight exposure. If spots appear when oiling, they are the deep spots of the dermis, which will recover after air drying. In addition to the original color, vegetable tanned leather has no coating or chemical fiber processing on the surface. The dyed leather may be slightly faded when polished with white cloth at the initial stage. After long-term curing, the color will be retained by the oxide layer of the coating.
