Yiu Wah Plastic Advertisement Company is the predecessor of Lee Hon Kong Kai, established in the 1970s, was a small and indigenous sign-making shop which opened at G/F, Block 26, Lower Wong Tai Sin Estate. It was demolished and moved to San Po Kong later around late 1980s.
Yiu Wah later transformed to China Bright Production which was established in 1999. The second generation Lee Kin Ming continued signage production continued with more modern method and computerized the procedure. Received many manuscripts as gift from father's friend Lee Hon , Lee Kin Ming started to started digitalising the manuscript into a computer font from 2016 and hoping that everyone is able to use it. This computer fonts cannot be used only for signage, but also for graphic design, packaging, sectional themes, and filmmaking.
After the success of the Lee Hon Kong Font's Crowding Scheme, Lee Kin Ming established Hong Kong Signboard Research Society in 2021. Not only making the souvenirs, guided tours and workshops have also been held to promote Hong Kong's signboard culture. Most of the fine works are hand-made by himself at the Hong Kong workshop, and the sentences above are full of buzzwords and public sentiment that are closely related to everyday life.
