IJUE started with the unique encounter of two modern women from very diverse background – a seasoned investment professional from the asset management field and a 3rd generation of a reputable jadeite jeweler. They both share the same visions – to redefine the imagine of fine jadeite jewelry in the heart of younger generations and to build the first unique brand of light jadeite jewelry suitable for daily wear.

Our designs are inspired by the unique symbolic meanings of jade and jadeite - purity, love, luck and protection. We have designed series of collections based on the beautiful symbolic meanings of jade and jadeite.

“I” stands for “Yi” (“一”) in Chinese. This signifies “only one” which is the unique nature of jadeite. There no two pieces of identical jadeite and the uniqueness of jadeite is its forever changing nature. People often have an impression that jadeite jewelry is traditional jewelry designed for older generations for special occasions. Our founders believe that jadeite can be worn young and trendy, and hence are dedicated to design modern and playful light jadeite jewelry that can be worn daily for different occasions or to match different outfits or moods given the unique changing nature of jadeite.

“JUE” stands for “Jue” (“珏”) in Chinese, meaning two pieces of jade mounting together to become the “King of Jadeite”. This signifies our two founders unique encounter to build this brand. Our jewelries are crafted with investment grade jadeite from Myanmar (Burma) (i.e. commonly known as “grade A jade” in the industry) together with top quality diamond and gemstones, which are all hand-made in our own workshop. Alongside with the unique shape, color and translucency of each jadeite, we make our design to bring out the best form of the jadeite.
