The name of the studio, "Musubiba" means "knotted leaves.
Musubiba" is a word that expresses the way the leaves of overgrown trees overlap each other and form shadows.
At the foot of Mt. Takao in Tokyo, Musubiba produces accessories with motifs of seasonal scenery, plants, and insects.
Inspired by the rich nature of Mt.Takao, each piece is carefully handmade.
The jewelry is colored using advanced techniques such as "Bastille," "Plique-à-jour," and "Champlevé," which are enameling techniques that were widely used in the jewelry of the Art Nouveau period.
The natural textures of the intricate carvings and and the transparent colors of the enamels are unique and one-of-a-kind,that can only be created by hand.
We hope you will find your favorite piece and add it to your collection.
