Inspired by my pet cat Jinjila, I created a series of works by combining the face shape based on the cat’s image with the Nuo opera masks in China’s traditional intangible cultural heritage. Drawing inspiration from some animal and plant elements in nature and combining them with creation, each work is personally done by the author from design to production.
