Pride of Taiwan - [Mui Kai Paper]
Mui Kai is the pronunciation of Taiwanese which means medium. Taiwanese is the local language of Taiwan while the paper is the medium to carry the emotion and to remember the old days. So, we named it Mui Kai paper and expecting this special made paper can deliver our thoughts and pass it on.
“A world class dancer needs a partner of equal measure to perform at the highest level, and a fountain pen deserves no less in the notebook it is paired with.” In the very beginning, Mui Kai paper was originally manufactured for exporting to Germany only. Nevertheless, we tried to adjust the details and made it allows the fountain pen nib to glide effortlessly over it. The quality is there for everyone to see which can even compete with Japan or Germany made papers.
It is cream paper with great smoothness and wonderful show-through resistance. The unique, unlimited graph rule and the soft cream color is always pleasant to look at. When you find this paper for your fountain pen, you will know that the heavens will open up and choirs of angels will sing.
