~A Story~
The image of clothes was repaired from presswork in 19 century. In those days, most color illustrations were printed with Planography. Slate printing was invented by Austrian composer Alois Senefelder (1771~1834) in 1798.It was the original of Planography. This kind of print method is very complicated, it has to be portrayed twice after each print. At last, it was eliminated by printing industry. Therefore every printed pattern from slate printing is detailed as free hand sketching. So far, the value of every print is equal to artistic work. Although this kind of skill was eliminated by printing industry, it was reserved by print cutter. Until today, some print cutter still adopted this kind of print method to copy their own works.
