Thomas Kinkade was born in California, USA, in 1958. When he was four years old, he showed his talent for painting when he was scribbling ducks with a pen. His relatives and teachers called him a "little genius in painting". At the age of fourteen, he began to decide to engage in artistic creation. In 1984, he released his first painting - DAWSON. He is best at lyrical landscape paintings. Because he loves American field scenery very much, his paintings are famous for their vivid colors and soft light.
