The canvas is made by Ogino Seiri, a company with over 90 years of history in Kojima, Kurashiki, and can only be produced at one roll per day. Woven slowly on an old-fashioned shuttle loom, the canvas has a beautiful, natural twill texture and is durable, becoming more beautiful with use. The cotton and linen blend makes the canvas cool in summer and warm in winter, making it a material that can be used all year round.
*Please note that Linen has neps and knots, but these are proof of its natural material.

The handles and soles are made of Buttero, a vegetable-tanned leather produced by Walpier, a prestigious tannery in the Tuscany region of Italy. The leather contains a lot of oil, so it becomes more lustrous the more you use it, and you can enjoy the beautiful changes that occur over time. It is also called the king of tanned leather because of the beautiful changes that occur over time.
