Inspired by Peder Severin Krøyer's 1893 painting 'Summer evening on Skagen Sønderstrand', I reinterpreted the piece. I combined three different types of yarns to represent the white sand with a blue ocean glow, and paletted the colors of the women's dresses and the blue ocean together.
