Artist: Yayoi Kusama
Yayoi Kusama, known as Japan's living classic artist, was born in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, Japan, and graduated from Kyoto Municipal Art and Craft School. In 1957, she moved to New York City, USA, and began to demonstrate her leading avant-garde artistic creation. She currently lives in Tokyo, Japan. She has participated in joint exhibitions with other contemporary artists such as Andy Warhol, Claes Oldenburg, and Jasper Johns.
Title of work: SELF-OBLITERATION NO. 2
(1967)
Yayoi Kusama stands alone in modern art—she is unique, deeply original, and universally popular. The theme of the poster, Self-Dissolution No. 2 (1967), comes from Kusama's budding years in New York in the 1960s, when new artistic trends such as Pop Art and Minimalism were taking shape.
Yayoi Kusama was part of this milieu, but from her position as a non-Western female artist she developed an entirely unique artistic world that today stands as an important and deeply original contribution to postwar art.
In recent decades, Kusama has become known for her colorful, branching patterns of contrasting polka dots in black and yellow or white and red.
In this infinite visual universe, Kusama herself stands: a distinct character of an artist who is not only behind the work, but prefers to be in front of it - in photographs, often wearing the same pattern as the work, an art Disguise is a strategy that allows her to visually blend in with his art.

The difference between whether there is Acrylic or not
》 Acrylic= one more layer of protection = one more layer of reflection
》No Acrylic= less layer of protection = you can directly see the work with better texture
I don’t know how to choose: (If there are children in the family, it is recommended to add Acrylic), (If there are adults in the family, you don’t need to use Acrylic)
Left: With Acrylic. Right: No Acrylic.
