Li Jinlun, an illustrator and principal of the Tailless Banana Animal School, has been giving voice to animals through her creations for 20 years. Many people grew up reading her creation "Zi'er, Tu Tu". From "Animal Hospital No. 39", "A Gentle, Kind and Rich Lady and Her Hundred Dogs", "Talk Bad About Cats", "Call My Cat", to the 2023 new work "A Dog's Will" ”, touching all those who love animals deeply.
From picture books, writing columns, running campuses, all the way to designing cultural and creative products, I use the power of creation to let more children learn to be friendly to animals. I also discovered that the most fundamental reason for improving the situation of stray animals comes from "people".
And so the Tailless Banana School was born!

Tailless Banana Animal School is located in Pier 2, Kaohsiung. It is the first friendly base in Taiwan that combines creation and promotion of animal knowledge. It hopes to accompany people and animals to learn together. Through storytelling and the promotion of "get to know first, then adopt", I hope that both people and pets will be happy together and stay together until old age, so that abandonment will not happen. The operation room was launched in March 2022, and won the 2022 Golden Pin Design Award Social Design Label, the 2022 Social Care and Friendly Environment Award, and the 2023 German Service Design: Education and Learning Award.
