Hand-woven silk stole [Mizuki＊01] Material: 100% silk Size: Approx. 60cm x 200cm (excluding fringe 9cm) This large stole is hand-woven using high-quality raw silk ordered from a silk wholesaler in Nishijin, Kyoto, and dyed in various colors from bleached yarn. Transparently thin, soft and light, it blends into your body. It has a chic striped pattern using seven colors of silk thread, and the golden muga silk (a rare wild silk thread from India) that is inserted throughout gives a soft fluctuation and depth to the fabric's expression. The total number of warp yarns is 1080, which is a fine density, and the silk threads are kneaded (refined) for 5 minutes and dyed, giving it a smooth texture similar to organdy. Silk stoles have excellent moisture absorption, moisture release, and heat retention properties. You can wear it over your shoulders to protect yourself from air conditioning, or wrap it around your neck to protect yourself from the cold.It can be worn all year round. *If you would like wrapping, please let us know as we will accept it free of charge.
