ABOUT ITEM'S ORIGIN (You can SKIP it!) Jupiter-21M is a long focus single-coated lens for different SLR cameras. Letter "M" means that the lens has spring blend "jumping" aperture. the lens is based at ideas and optical scheme of Sonnar Carl Zeiss lens. All the Soviet plants which issued photo equipment (include most famous KMZ, LOMO and Litkarino plants) mostly issued military equipment, and little part only were for civil purposes, and those civil goods had enough high quality to receive World glory for best ratio price/quality. ITEM'S CONDITION: EXCELLENT- The glass is clean, without any separations, scratches or fungus, but some minor cleaning marks or pieces of dust inside sometimes can be found. Aperture blades open and close smoothly, focusing is smooth too. Cosmetically the lens looks very accurately used before... just examine item's photos, please. All functions are available. TECHNICAL FEATURES * Brand: VOMZ. * Model: Jupiter-21M. * Optical registration 45.5mm * Focus 200 mm. * Angle of view 12 degrees. * Relative aperture 1:4.0 (up to 1:22, with 1/2 f-stop clicks). * The lens has very nice "A"-"M" aperture selector, it will very useful if You'll use different devices (for example macro rings) which have no springblend aperture driver. * Mounting M42 x 1mm groove, known as Pentax Thread Mount, same with a lot of old SLR cameras (Practica, Chinon, Yashika, Bessaflex etc). * Mounting for modern MFT, SLR & dSLR cameras will not bring any trouble with well-spread M42 adapters. * Lens can be used with RED, Canon EOS or other cameras and DOF systems if you have corresponding adapter. * Resolution of the lens (in pairs of lines per 1mm) is not less than 50 in the center and 36 on the edge of frame. * Focusing from 1.8m. * Filter mount M 58x0.75mm mm. * Collapsible built-in lens-hood. * Pretty in using. * Good black finishing. * The lens was made at Vologda city in USSR (Russia now) in 1986.
