ARSENAL plant, KIEV LONG FOCUS (PORTRAIT) KALEINAR-3V 150mm F2.8 LENS SALUT-S & KIEV-88 MOUNT!!! ABOUT ITEM'S ORIGIN (You can SKIP it!) The distance the Kaleniar put between the subject and the photographer is natural feeling. It is the perfect portrait length. It’s like an 80mm on 35mm format. I think this lens should be an automatic addition to any Kiev or Pentacon setup. It’s a great in-between if you already use the Vega or Biometar 120mms and the Sonnar 180mms. Zeiss never produced a 150mm so you’re getting a beautiful, original Soviet design. In the main, most all Soviet lenses are exceptionally good and this one is no exception! ITEM'S CONDITION: EXCELENT The glass is clean and should produce nice images, with no scratches, separations or fungus, but some minor cleaning marks and some pieces of dust inside can be found. Aperture blades open and close smoothly (and jumps properly). Focusing is smooth. Cosmetically lens is in fine condition, just examine item's photos, please. All functions are available. TECHNICAL FEATURES * Focus 150 mm. * Angle of view 30 degrees. * Relative aperture 1:2.8 (up to 1:16). * Springblend aperture. * Mounting - half-groove bayonet "V" same with old Hasselblad (but I don't sure that Mir-26V can be mounted on genuine Hassel) and with Soviet Salut cameras. However, springblend aperture will work properly only with Salut-S (or C) and Kiev-88 cameras. NOTE 1: You can not fit presented lens to Kiev-88CM camera because it has other type of bayonet (same with Pentacon-Six cameras). NOTE 2: Russian letter which looks like "6" is sounds like "B", this is Pentacon-six lens mount. Russian letter which looks like "B" is sounds like "V", this is Salut-S and Kiev-88 (non-CM) lens mount... but mix-up with bayonet indexes and real type of the bayonet was well-spread.. * Resolution of presented lens is not less than 45 lines on mm in the center and 18 lines on mm on the edge of frame. * Focusing from 1.8m. * Filter mount M 82x0.75mm. * Pretty in using, more compact than famous 180mm Sonnar lens, because "KALEYNAR" has genuine telephoto construction. * Weight (without lens caps and case) 1.1kg. * The special pentagram - symbol of quality (Znak Kachestva SSSR) is engraved at the lens. * The lens was made at "Arsenal" plant at Kiev city in USSR in 1980.
