Lishan is the best high mountain tea plantations in Taiwan, also among the most celebrated oolong in the world. Peaking at 1900 meters above sea level, the tea plants are exposed to strong sunshine only in the morning, then mist covers them the rest of the day. High elevation and cool temperature slow the bushes’ growth and produce leaves much tender, smaller and thicker, preserving the nutrients that translate to subtle, silky, roundness palate and soft, lingering floral aftertaste.
Pear Delicate Lishan Oolong has a special stony, mineral fragrance, exquisitely incomparable velvety texture. The crisp, light sweet flavor is refreshing - reminiscent of the wonderland-like high mountain wreathed in the cool air and soft cloud.
