Artist and designer Ronan Bouroullec has expanded his exploratory "RB Collection", continuing to create in his "intuitive painterly" style. Favoring instinct over reason, he crafted a formal language that was universal and easy to understand.
"Maybe one day I will stop designing, but I will never stop painting." Ronan Bouroullec is a painter, sculptor, and designer. His works are always simple, but full of rich imagination. He believes that design is neither a luxury nor a fashion. , but a lifestyle that everyone can have, a harmonious state between individuals and the environment.
"I never paint in the studio. When I have time, I will paint at home for a whole day. Painting is a kind of meditation for me." Ronan presents his inner emotions in his works. At first glance, maybe There is no strong design impression. If you live with it for a period of time, it will integrate with the surrounding environment to form a simple and peaceful relationship. The painting style of surreal expression is like fiber-like marker strokes, organic and natural lines and shapes, the colors are bright and active, and at the same time elegant and romantic, layered to create a blurred visual sense, full of poetry.
When asked what drawing means in his design career, he responded, “Drawing is something I do in the evenings, at the end of the day, on the weekends.” “It’s all by myself, outside the studio, in the kitchen, or on the weekends. Something to do in the living room. It's a very intimate practice and very freeing because when I started I had no idea what I was going to do and it wasn't something I planned. It's very intuitive, instinctive. It's like meditation .I start with a white paper and then lines, lines and lines until I create a form. And then when it's done, I forget about it.
Drawing is a way to heal from the mechanics of design, it's a daily practice, an instant gratification that no one can change, and it's completely free.
But what’s the difference between drawing abstract lines and designing a design product? “Design is a collective situation, you work with engineers, with companies,” Bouroullec replies, “It’s a very long and often very frustrating process because there are waves of joy about an idea, And then you get frustrated when you find it's too frustrating. Expensive or takes a long time to achieve. Painting is a way to heal from this mechanism, it's a daily practice, an instant that no one can change Satisfaction, it's completely free. I love it all.

The difference between whether there is Acrylic or not:
》 Acrylic= one more layer of protection = one more layer of reflection
》No Acrylic= less layer of protection = you can directly see the work with better texture
I don’t know how to choose: (If there are children in the family, it is recommended to add Acrylic), (If there are adults in the family, you don’t need to use Acrylic)
