Kobukura S

Kazuyoshi Osawa from the Porcelain Studio Tourai designed this “Kobukura” cup, inspired by a traditional cup design used by farmers when enjoying Sake during their breaks. The loose form expresses their generous and easy-going nature. Idea for coffee, ice cream, etc. A potter’s wheel is used to form iwatemo porcelain products, retaining a sense of the warmth particular to handmade objects. Wood ash is applied as he glaze. All the products are fired at 1,280 degrees Celsius for 25 hours for stronger durability. ■Size／φ7-H5cm
