17 note kalimba- There'll be thousands more of me

Product Description

17 notes kalimba The kalimba is a very representative national instrument of Africa. It can also be called the thumb piano, because it is played by using the thumbs of the left and right hands to create melodies. This simple instrument creates a unique ethereal sound that is both relaxing and inspiring. **This design was exhibited at Nie Lou Cafe and Looking Glass Silver.** Name of the work: There'll be thousands more of me Representative animal: Chicken Materials: Maple wood, natural stones The nature of chickens is to eat worms and peck around in the ground, the females lay eggs and the male roosters cry out early in the morning. I am not a person who sleeps early and wakes up early and the first time the rooster cried at two or three in the morning it made me very uncomfortable. One time, the rooster was crying early next to where we slept, which made me very angry, so I took a stick with me and found the one that had been disturbing my dream. I scared him off the tree outside my bedroom, went back to my comfortable bed and continued to sleep. After a while, there was another loud “cock-a-doodle-doo!”. I opened the door and saw that our house was besieged by roosters. In the end, the chickens were chased away by a pet dog, which extended our quiet time, but it turns out that roosters also have the concept of not listening to the protests of others. This experience made me think that the group of roosters and hens have a certain amount of comradery, and whether we as people should also have this awareness of unity and strength.
