It is native to the Philippines. The application of ylang-ylang oil in the perfume industry is one of the most feminine fragrances. Extraction of ylang-ylang oil The extraction of ylang-ylang oil requires artificial picking of flowers. The harvest period is from May to July, from eleven to December. Since ylang-ylang is quite sensitive, it must be harvested before dawn to extract the best quality essential oil.
