Limited of 3, all one-of-a-kind. These are hand-sewn from vintage KIMONO fabric. The AZUMA bag, is made from leftover fabric from the production process. AZUMA bag is a traditional Japanese bag made of a single piece of fabric sewn together and spread out diagonally to make its shape. It is a reversible type combining two types of KIMONO fabrics. With the optional (extra charge) leather handles, the bag can be used as a shoulder bag. They are made of wool-linen KIMONO fabric in yellow with light-colored stripes and "New Muslin" (cotton) lining. Each one has a different color of the lining. Referring to the material preparation for Japanese sewing, I try to cut fabric in straight lines as much as possible and use it without wasting it. ------- Most parts are hand-sewn, except for a few parts that are pieced together by a sewing machine. I hope you will enjoy the soft texture and silhouette that only hand-sewing can produce. All items are sewn by the artist alone. Please note that there may be some errors in size or sewing deviation due to the handmade nature of this product. [About care] We mainly use vintage kimono fabrics: vintage stocked fabric or fabric disassembled from KIMONOs. Most are made of delicate materials prone to color fading, color migration, and shrinkage. Dry cleaning is generally recommended for care. [Custom-made order] Custom-made orders are available based on the shapes shown at my shop. You can choose from our fabric stock or we can make it from your fabric.
