"Soft enamel pins inspired by tin toys from our childhood."
The earliest tin toys originated in Europe in the early 1800s. Japan became a major maker of these toys with leftover materials from the war effort after World War II. Brightly-coloured and affordable, they were adored by kids and adults alike. China came into play during the 60s, producing many of our childhood favourites such as Jumping Frog, Drummer Monkey, Ringing Tricycle, Mechanical Robot, Rocket Racer, etc. Tin toys' popularity waned in the 80s with the advent of plastic and electronic toys. Pentomime pays tribute to three classics by reinterpreting them in soft enamel.
