Royal Grafton was founded in England in 1876. It was not until 1972 that it began to produce fine bone china porcelain, and it is famous for its hand-painted fine bone china. Most of the early British hand-painted bone china wares came from Royal Grafton. Unfortunately, the production of bone china tableware only lasted for 20 years. In 1992, it was unable to escape the economic recession and closed down.
