/ Product description and story /
Otto Lilienthal (May 23, 1848-August 10, 1896) was a German aviation pioneer, known worldwide as "The King of German Glider". He was also the first person in history to be able to repeat a successful gliding flight. Otto Lilienthal uses his designed glider for more than 2,000 gliding flights. He can glide over the hills using an updraft of 10 meters per second, and can stay in the air to watch the surface closely. He can also call the photographer on the ground to move to the best location for photography.
"It's nothing to invent an airplane, and it's nothing to make it. Only letting it fly is everything."
-Otto Lilinthal
