For the material, we chose Linen, which is more water-absorbent, quick-drying, and stronger than cotton. The hemp fabric maker is a craftsman who knows all about Linen materials and weaves, inheriting the tradition of Omi Jofu in the Omi Lake East production area in Shiga Prefecture, and currently mainly manufacturing fabrics for apparel collection brands. Weaving is done carefully at a speed of 1m to 2m per hour with a traditional shuttle loom. It's not just a Linen fabric cut into a kitchen cloth size. As a kitchen cloth, we made the fabric from scratch in order to maximize the goodness of the Linen material. A slightly thicker 25th thread is woven at high density.
