the pattern is made in traditional marbling method called ebru. with the help of carrageenan, water became thicker so acrylic paints could stay on the water surface. wooden stick and comb are used to affect the flow of colour, spontaneous image is formed and absorbed by the paper. the marbled paper then is cut and folded into this decorative envelope. *please notice that every envelope's pattern is different, it is an individual marbling piece. #as the outcome of the marbling is unpredictable. sometimes not every part of the colour on water surface will be absorbed by the paper. or the shape as perfect as you want. to me these flaws make the image special and unique. hope you ll like it as i do. let me know if you have any questions. ***more marbling products are coming soon.***
