**Chiu Chow dumpling** is really famous and well known in Hong Kong . The dumpling skin is almost translucent and made using corn flour. The texture of the skin is similar to Hakka abacus seeds (suan pan zi) or the locally known chai kueh, which are steamed vegetable dumplings rumoured to be of Chiu Chow origins.
**Siu Mai** immediately recognisable by its bright yellow wrapper, this ubiquitous streetside snack differs from its pork-filled counterpart served in dim sum parlours in that it’s made with flour kneaded with a bit of fish meat. These are then steamed and doused in soy sauce. Those who crave a kick of heat can also pile on the chilli sauce.
**Beef Balls** are a delicious snack usually served dim sum style. The combination of cilantro, orange peel and sesame oil give the beef an amazingly fresh flavor.
