From the collections of the Hillwood Museum and Gardens, this jewel is inspired by the diamond-encrusted rosette that adorns Fabergé’s masterpiece, Catherine the Great’s Easter eggs.
In 1914, the Russian Tsar Nicholas II gave his mother Maria (Maria Fedorovna) a gift, a gift to commemorate the great Queen Catherine the Great (Екатерина II Великая, Catherine the Great, reigned from 1762 to 1796) ), the egg is inlaid with two sterling silver roses, which is also the inspiration for the design of this pair of earrings.
Part of the proceeds from the sale of this product will be used to support the Hillwood Museum and Gardens.
